Singapore media rivals merge

That's it, the end of competing TV channels in Singapore. All TV stations are again owned by one company after the merger. Channel U will probably still be available. Channel I's future is uncertain. More uncertain are the jobs of those who years ago jumped from MediaCorp to SPH MediaWorks.
