IE5 on Windows 98

This afternoon I got a bug where the HTML web application will crash on IE5 in Windows 98. No errors, just a browser crash. No where to start debugging. And who uses Windows 98 nowadays?!

Update: Looks like the problem is due to some JavaScript code that was put in to work around a XP SP2 IE bug.
