The camping portion of the trip was fun, but I suppose Lake Shasta won't be famous for its beautiful scenery. People mostly go there for the water sports, so just about everyone towed some kind of boats there, e.g. speed boats and jet skis. We were the nimble, poor type with only the car and nothing else.
